OVERGROWN
Overgrown is a multimedia art project consisting of an illustrated zine and a textile installation. I had the pleasure of being one of the selected artists for the 2025 PRIZMA collective exhibition, Има време за копнеж, which invited the artists to express their personal or collective desires. I set out to explore my vision of an utopia rooted in ecological restoration and individual freedom.
The story unfolds as an illustrated, poetic narrative, depicting a better world not born of wishful thinking, but nurtured through care and collaborative effort. The zine blends hand-drawn illustrations, collage, and short texts.
The textile installation is made from thrifted fabrics and aims to extend the utopic world into physical space. It mirrors the zine’s floral motifs and becomes both backdrop and continuation of its visual story.
